The body is the “zero point of the world”, both material and elusive, liminal place between the internal and the external, reality and utopia. Could the body be assimilated to the evanescence of sound? Isn’t our body a drum wrapped into a thin membrane likely to vibrate and to make the whole chamber enter in resonance?
The work takes into consideration the power of a corporeality which is ontologically inherent to all the matter and to sound itself as mean to retain and show, by subtraction, as leftovers, its Memories (Herinnerung). Evasion from the skin of an unlearned matter-memory.
